Energysis

The ENERGYSIS Project, Reference RTC-2016-5306-3, is a Project funded by the State Programme of Research, Development and Innovation Oriented to the Challenges of Society, within the framework of the State Plan for Scientific and Technical Research and Innovation 2013-2016 of the State Research Agency (Ministry of Economy, Industry and Competitiveness), co-financed with ERDF Funds.

The ENERGYSIS project arises because of the need to access an integrated energy supply and supply (i.e., electricity and heat) without which everyday private or professional life would not be possible, making energy a key strategic resource.
Its objective is to develop an energy production system that satisfies these requirements through the use of renewable and autonomous energy in crisis situations or areas with supply difficulties, such as isolated villages, refugee camps, natural disasters or military camps.
The search consists of energy hybridization to achieve an innovative energy island system of production and consumption together with the design and optimization of low-demand modular structures and rapid implementation in cases of emergency or areas difficult to access to achieve a supply system that provides electricity, air conditioning and DHW without greenhouse gas emissions.

The modular structure can be used in temporary facilities for humanitarian or military use, so it will be necessary to implement it quickly and easily. It will be necessary for its energy supply to have solutions focused on the use of local renewable energy resources, such as photovoltaic panels, mini-wind or Stirling engines (for electricity), heat sources such as geothermal, solar thermal or absorption machine (for air conditioning and hot water generation).
